About Us

Established in 2007, Mercury Global Partners is a multi discipline international boutique marketing and PR firm with offices in San Francisco, Amsterdam and London. Mercury Global Partners offers strategic guidance combined with tactical execution to companies who seek a blend of traditional and highly creative ways to reach their target audiences. The company is uniquely geared to provide an unmatched range of 360-degree marketing and PR services in both the online and offline worlds.

 

We specialize in working with B2B and B2C companies of all sizes within the TMT (tech, media and telecom) sectors with a primary focus on mobile, cloud, enterprise, media, and connected consumer companies.

 

Our management team has over 50 years of marketing and PR expertise working with B2B and B2C companies in North America and Europe. Mercury Global Partners supports its clients by working with an international team of expert designers, developers, videographers, and partners based on each client’s unique needs.

 

We work directly with every client. Our clients are never passed off to junior staff who lack the experience to handle the details or don’t possess key relationships. The team

  • Mindy M. Hull

    CEO | Managing Director | Founder – US and Western Europe

    Mindy takes a very hands-on approach in the day-to-day execution of all client work, and is responsible for the overall direction of the company including management, operations, marketing, PR and business development. She is a former VP of marketing and business development, and brings over 15 years of senior-level B2B and B2C experience in strategic marketing, PR, business development, product development and operations to both established and startup companies within the TMT (tech, media, telecom) sector. Throughout her career, she has refined an expertise in developing and executing innovative strategies that repeatedly generate revenue while promoting goodwill and understanding between companies, their partners, their investors and their publics. She consistently wins media coverage for clients in some of the most respected tier-one publications in the world.

    Prior to founding Mercury Global Partners, Mindy spent time in senior-level roles at the Financial Times, E.W. Scripps Co. and Inman News Group. She serves as a mentor for the European startup incubator, Rockstart, and is frequently called to speak at key tech and mobile industry events.

    Mindy has a proclivity for international travel, gourmet cooking, sunshine, concerts in small venues, weekend trips in Northern California, and a warm spot in her heart for The Netherlands.

  • Ginny Cain

    Managing Director – Silicon Valley

    Ginny is responsible for day-to-day client management, strategic marketing plans and PR, and is a former VP of marketing for several top 10 nationally ranked real estate brokerages. Prior to joining Mercury Global Partners, Ginny founded and ran her own marketing consultancy firm, Cain Communications, where she worked with a variety of clients in the technology, real estate and mortgage industries.

    She previously served as VP of marketing at Alain Pinel Realtors, the ninth largest residential brokerage firm in the US, where she managed a multi-million annual marketing budget that included print and online advertising, collateral support materials, digital print shop, emerging technology initiatives, corporate events and public relations. Prior to that, Ginny was VP of marketing for Prudential California, Texas and Nevada Realty where she managed all aspects of marketing for the company’s 140 offices and over 4,000 sales associates in three states. An early adapter of technology, Ginny also spent four years with Mortgage.com as their VP of marketing during a transition from conventional brick-and-mortar operations as First Mortgage Network to the online mega-keyword, mortgage.com. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Cameron University in Oklahoma.

    Ginny is an incessant Francophile and a weekend gourmet.

  • Colleen Wickwire

    Senior Marketing and Communications Director – San Francisco

    Colleen is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communication strategies for clients. She is accomplished at building productive relationships with both traditional media and key vertical influencers through an integrated approach to PR and social media.

    Colleen has over ten years of experience as a communications professional, and has held positions in broadcast television, as well as agency and in-house PR. She has worked with an extensive range of enterprise and consumer-facing companies throughout her career including Meebo, Mobclix, Yodlee, Google, Sony Online Entertainment, Social Gaming Network (SGN), Bunchball, JustAnswer, Coupon Craze and SmartyPig. Prior to joining Mercury Global Partners, Colleen founded her own PR consultancy firm where she worked closely with early-stage technology companies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in humanities from the University of San Diego.

    Colleen has an insatiable appetite for discovering new music and local restaurants, and on sunny days you can almost certainly find her at the beach.

  • Christina Vrachnos

    Senior Marketing and Communications Director - San Francisco

    Christina focuses on devising media strategies grounded in creative and effective messaging, and supported by traditional and new media tools to maximize impact and minimize cost.

    She has over ten years of experience in marketing and strategic communications. Previously, Christina held senior-level roles at the Financial Times and Kaplan, Inc., followed by several years managing global media campaigns at the United Nations. She has also consulted for several companies, including Technorati Media, PBS, and Four Seasons Hotels, Inc. A speaker of five languages, she graduated from Georgetown and holds a Masters degree in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University.

    After living and working in New York City for fifteen years, Christina is ecstatic to have swapped the concrete jungle of Manhattan for the sunshine and farmers’ markets of San Francisco.

  • Georgia Hanias

    Senior Account Director - UK

    Georgia is responsible for PR including media outreach, and has worked for over 10 years in the communications industry, helping companies develop and execute media programs that attract the attention of key audiences. She has represented a broad range of clients independently and with other agencies, spanning consumer and technology companies. The list includes Ernst & Young, Nortel Networks, Independent Television News (ITN), ST Microelectronics, Jaspersoft, Coverity, Intec and OK Labs. Prior to joining Mercury Global Partners, Georgia worked in Ottawa, NYC and London as a communications manager for telecoms giant, Nortel Networks. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

    Georgia recently completed a three-part series about Japan for an ITN television news program in the UK, and has also produced her first feature film on modern architecture in Japan, which was shown at the Barbican Gallery in London in 2010.

  • Hanna Manninen

    Senior Account Director - Northern Europe and UK

    Hanna has over 15 years of B2B and B2C experience in PR and marketing. She has a strong history of successfully running global and pan-European campaigns and helping companies to launch in new markets. Hanna demonstrates a proactive approach to implementing client PR strategies and cuts to the chase to find the best results for clients. She has worked with world-class companies and organizations such as BBC, IBM, Microsoft, Qualcomm, and GSMA as well as a number of mobile and gaming startups. If you were a regular visitor to Mobile World Congress, you would have seen her running the media center.

    Hanna enjoys traveling, good food and wine, as well as arts, architecture and the great outdoors. She is a native Finn, and keeps her international network of contacts active from her northerly location, where she moved from lively London.

  • Kayla Egbert

    Account Manager and Social Media Specialist - US and Western Europe

    Kayla is responsible for the day-to-day execution of client communications and social media strategies. Kayla creates and coordinates cohesive social media campaigns to expand brand presence on multiple platforms including Twitter, Facebook and Google+. She plays an important role in key communications projects and events, and works closely with fellow MGP team members. Kayla is skilled at helping clients move their PR strategies forward through media and analyst outreach, original content creation and curation, and other written materials. Her carefully crafted pitches have landed clients tier-one media coverage, as well as press meetings at key tech conferences like CES, MWC, InfoComm and AWE.

    Previously, Kayla worked for SpilledINK (fka Ink Communications), a boutique agency where she helped managed accounts including PrimeSense (acquired by Apple in November 2013), OpenNI, Democrats Abroad 2012, and Catchoom. Her experience comes in handy when working with IoT (Internet of Things), connected consumer and hardware companies, as well as companies in the mobile sector.

    Although Kayla lives 10 minutes from the beach in sunny Florida, you’re more likely to find her surfing the Internet than surfing the waves. Don’t get her started on food or dogs, she’ll never stop talking.

  • Mackenzie May

    Intern

    Mackenzie moved from upstate New York to Northern California to honor her adventurous spirit and open doors to more opportunities. As an intern with Mercury Global Partners, she is a hard working, go-getter with high hopes to learn and earn her stripes in the PR and marketing world.

    Mackenzie is a graduate from the State University of New York at Oswego where she received her B.A. in Public Relations, and was a NCAA Athlete. She has been involved in the high-end food and wine industry since her move to California, and has developed a great admiration for the wine country.
